A Life In Photography With God

Sidney C. Baker was a photographer who worked through the early days of the industry and through two World Wars.  He photographed people, dams, royalty, and everyday life.  He was also the grandfather of author Arnold Ytreeide.

In this short autobiography, Sidney walks us through the early to mid 1900's, describing what life was like for a young man learning a trade.  While the story is punctuated with the occasional close call or spy encounter, it's mostly about the ordinary and everyday events of a changing world.

In the midst of life, Sidney also exposes the evolution of photography, and about his deep relationship with God.

Proceeds from this book go directly to the Sidney C. Baker Cinematography Award & Scholarship at Northwest Nazarene University.
